Mediation of Employment, Business and Professional Disputes.

Experience

Extensive experience mediating, arbitrating and handling claims involving breach of employment agreements, employment discrimination, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, disability and age discrimination. Visiting Lecturer, University of California at Los Angeles, School of Law, 1985. State Bar lecturer for MCLE credit in Employment Discrimination Litigation and Mediation, 1970 to Present. Visiting Mediation Practitioner, Pepperdine University School of Law, Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, 2002, 2003, and 2004.

As a neutral, Mr. Mason has successfully mediated hundreds of disputes, including complicated sexual harassment, wrongful termination and all types of discrimination claims. Certified mediator and arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association (1975-2000). Member of the Los Angeles Police Commission's Board of Rights serving as a Commission Hearing Examiner (1994-1997).
