Following 17 years of distinguished service with the Orange County
Superior Court, Honorable Tully Seymour now serves as arbitrator,
mediator and discovery referee. While on the bench, Judge Seymour sat in
the Probate, Family Law, Law & Motion and Civil Trials Departments. In
addition, he also handled larger, more problematic cases while serving
for several years on the Complex Panel. He served with distinction as a
Justice Pro Tem of the Court of Appeals on assignment. Prior to taking
the bench, he practiced civil litigation for 14 years, primarily in the
area of business and real estate. On the bench and as a settlement
officer, those before him appreciated his considerate manner, neutrality
and wealth of experience. Attorneys have called him “a pleasure to work
with,” and said of his skills that “with his extraordinary understanding
of challenging business issues, he is able to find creative solutions to
very complicated matters.”
