Supervising Judge, Northwest District, 1997-98. Assistant Supervising Judge, Northwest District, Los Angeles, 1995-96. Member, court’s Grand and Trial Jurors Committee, Judicial Orientation Committee, and Personnel and Budget Committee, 1985, 1997, and 1998.

Appointed [succeeding Judge Edward Newell Barrett, retired] by Governor Brown Jr. Dec. 24, 1980 (oath Dec. 31, 1980), elected in 1982 (unopposed), and reelected in subsequent elections.
