Mr. Pearl is a coauthor of California Wage and Hour Law and Litigation, published by Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB) and Employee Rights Litigation: Pleading and Practice, published by the National Employment Lawyers Association and Matthew Bender. Articles by Mr. Pearl have appeared in CEB’s California Business Law Reporter, Los Angeles Lawyer, The Daily Journal, and California Labor and Employment Law Review.
He authors the “California Wage and Hour Law Blog,” the “Mediation and Negotiation Blog,” and the “Wage and Hour and Class Action Update,” a monthly email newsletter with more than 850 subscribers, including defense counsel, plaintiffs’ counsel, and many neutrals.
Mr. Pearl speaks frequently on dispute resolution and wage and hour law topics. Some of the groups he has spoken before include the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, California Employment Lawyers Association, Continuing Education of the Bar, among many more.
Mr. Pearl serves on the Executive Committee of the Labor and Employment law sections of both the State Bar of California and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He co-chairs CELA’s Wage and Hour Committee and serves on the Planning Committee for the LACBA Annual Labor and Employment Law Symposium.
