Judicial Experience
Over 29 years' as a trial judge handling cases in about every area of law that involves litigation. Still sits on assignment in the Trial Courts.
- 1985 - 1986 While serving as Superior Court Judge handled entire San Francisco Superior Court Law and Motion Calendar, was past Presiding Judge of San Francisco Municipal Court Past Criminal Master Calendar Judge (handling assignment of cases and ruling on all-types of Pre-Trial Motions). Presided over all types of felony cases including murder and life without the possibility of parole.
- 1997 - 1998 Also served, while at San Francisco Superior Court as Writs and Receivers Judge (ruling on writs involving Statutes, Ordinances, Government policies, California Environmental Quality Act and corporate and private disputes.
- 1998 Rated one of the top 3 Judges in San Francisco Examiner survey. Presided over cases involving, but not limited to: trade secrets, customer lists, employment issues involving wrongful termination, business issues, partnership dissolutions, fraud, malpractice (medical, dental, legal), licensing (medical, dental), environmental law, California Environmental Quality Act, probate (will contests, mental capacity, distributions and international issues), and fish and game cases. Provided over asbestos and other multi-party complex litigation, artistic licensing (hall fees, etc).
