Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith
Mr. Friedman has litigated, mediated, or arbitrated insurance, reinsurance, and insurance regulatory disputes involving such policies as: Auto, Homeowners, Commercial General Liability, Legal Malpractice, Directors & Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Medical Malpractice, Title, Health, Disability, Intellectual Property, Fidelity & Surety, and Motion Picture Completion Bonds. In 1996, Mr. Friedman had one of the top 10 jury verdicts of the year.  He obtained a $10 million verdict, including $5 million in punitive damages, against a property insurer arising out of its refusal to pay a Northridge Earthquake claim.
