Judge Bollhoffer has extensive experience in all fields and aspects of Civil Law and Judicial functions. He developed the procedures and rules for implementation of the State mandated "fast-track" in San Mateo County and was a Civil Case Management Judge for three years under that program, with an emphasis on early settlement of cases. He also has over 18 years of experience as a Settlement Judge. As a Trial Judge he has conducted jury and bench trials involving all fields of Civil Law, Insurance Law, Family Law, and Probate. There are 28 published opinions by the California Supreme Court and District Court of Appeal regarding cases in which Judge Bollhoffer was the Trial Judge, covering the period from 1977 to 1998.
